Forward Together

The Shaker Heights Library Board, the Shaker Heights School Board, and the Shaker Heights City Council should host quarterly public meetings to discuss topics such as taxes, sustainability, resident services, and funding sources. Currently, these governing bodies do not meet together publicly. While individual members occasionally meet one-on-one to discuss important issues, I believe a public collective meeting is critical to moving Shaker Heights forward in the most collaborative way possible. Furthermore, a public meeting provides transparency to our residents.
